Does Russia have problems with radicalism other than just Islamic? I was reading a story about Madonna going to Moscow, and Orthodox Christians burnt pictures of her, threatened they would break up her concert of 20,000 like they did with the gay pride parade, and had signs everywhere telling her to go home. This was due to her "crucifying" herself on the cross.

Does anyone have any insight?

First of all, it wasn't the just church who broke up the gay march in russia, it was everyone there; this kind of things are not something russia stands for and will not stand for. As for your "radicalism" comment i'm not sure what you're asking. Are you saying Russia has problems with radical Islam or they are radical the the radical Islam.

First of all I haven't heard anything about this but I can tell you strait of that Eastern Orthodox is not radical. If she did display herself crusified though I'm not surprised they would get angry. Russia is strict about the things they stand for.

Regards
