Reptilian ? what you on about?

Look I aint one to diss someones belief just because I dont believe, but, where did all the "Reptilian theory" originate from? I will say now that until I joined ATS I had never heard of this before.

My only guess is that its from the old Adam and Eve story where the "snake" (reptile) tricks Eve into eating the "forbidden fruit or apple", thus portraying the "snake" as evil and somewhat "human-like" through its ability to "speak".

Thus giving birth to the theory that the "Reptilians" were the cause of all sin in the world.
