Space shuttle Atlantis astronaut Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper collapsed twice during a welcome home ceremony,

Just trying to get more info on this, I think this is just braking now,

I hioe that shes ok, I wonder what may be wrong,

Probably trying to get her land legs back. I hear it can be a bit wobbly for some people and other people are perfectly fine(if a bit weak kneed).

Looks like you may be right sardion, they say she may just be getting reacclimatised and she was not taken to hospital,

Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper was the first on the space walk when Atlanis was in space,

I hope she's OK and it's only post-flight vestibular effects of the humors and cilia of the inner ear re-centering and not something more serious. She's a top-drawer diver and I'd have thought she'd not be as affected... owing to her diving-experience in dis-orienting environs. I hope it's nothing that would ground her as her experience is valuable and needed.
