On friday 15th september i saw two RAF eurofighters flying low and in close formation over Chichester, West Sussex, UK. I have looked on the net and in local papers to see if i could find out what they were doing. There is an Army base about 10 miles to the west which houses an air defence artillery regiment perhaps the planes were on some exercise with the army. If anyone knows anything i would love to find out.

It was most likely nothing more than a training flight.

i doubt very much it was a training flight. They were flying directly over Chichester town centre when i said they were flying in close formation a mean Red arrow distance formation. The only time you see jets flying over Chichester is when the Goodwood festival of speed is on. Might have something to do with Douglas Bader he used to fly from Tangmere airfield in WW2
