I recently asked in the general conspiracy forum why this event has not got it`s own forum, or at the very least linked with this one, it`s a whole lot more obvious than 9/11 - due mainly to the 4 guys wearing semtex waistcoats all spotted around London afterwards where 3 were duly shot by police marksman near the banking areas around docklands iirc.

Four terrorist cells, simultaneous war games running asymmetrically to the attacks, how the hell does the average debunker`s brain not register and question aspects like this?.

2.) The probability of this happening using a 10 year mean is:

and no. ATS not putting up 7/7 forum is not a conspiracy that ATS works for the GOV, you can also ask why haven't ATS put up a Mumbai attacks forum

Characters like Alex Jones are almost certainly the ones who put the idea of the 7/7 attack being staged by armies of sinister secret agents working on an evil plot to take over the world in these people's heads to begin with.

Please, explain to me how having an overbearing need to believe in these armies of sinister secret agents working on an evil plot to take over the world is any different from having an overbearing need to believe there's some invisible guy living in the clouds who'll randomly reward us with free magical gifts if we pray to him long enough, 'cause to me this is faith based logic either way.

Too many discrepancies .......if you have a tiny bit of critical thinking going on then you will see them for yourself, as I and many others have

You see, a conspiracy will only transpire when evidence points that way

I see you will never question "suspicious" evidence as you clearly serve an agenda, that is to pedal the OS no matter what it is

and as a side note : the coincidences between 9/11 and 7/7 are staggering!!

We were led to believe they all blew themselves up on trains but evidence points to them trying to run away when they realized they were being set up....and being "taken out" in the Canary Wharf business district

Baloney. A conspiracy will transpire whenever someone wanting to see conspiracy is willing to introduce conspiracy. It's the entire reason why not even two truthers can agree amongst themselves on what the "sinister secret plot" actually is. This person wants to believe it's controlled demolitions planted by Mossad. That person wants to believe it was destroyed by secret gov't lasers from outer space. Yet another wants to believe they were destroyed by planes carrying explosives piloted remotely by the Illuminati. I can sit here and insist they're all wrong and 9/11 was the work of leprechauns. When someone is of a mindset that they believe everything from the JFK assassination to a town ordinance requiring you to buy a license for your dog as being part of a conspiracy by armies of sinister secret agents, they're naturally going to think the 7/7 attack was the work of armies of sinister secret agents too.

More to the point, the very moment someone needs to introduce "armies of sinister secret agents" to make their claims work, it's a de facto admission they're working off of faith based logic.

...or maybe it's becuase you're embellishing the suspiciousness of it because you want to see something suspicious about it, which means it really isn't anything suspicious about it at all. The moment they caught that coureier in Vienna who was carrying documents admitting that Al Waida was behind the 7/7 atatck, it trumps all your "isn't THAT suspicious (wink wink)" innuendo dropping.

You're right, it is- both events have the fingerprints of Islamic fundamentalists all over them...and instead you want to look beneath rocks and root through garbage cans looking for even a whisper of proof of armies of sinister secret agents. Does that about sum things up?

Absolutely, but only if you address them with a certain preconceived evidential procedure. Take the example above, of 'terrorists' apparently shot in Canary Wharf. It is almost inconceivable that the police would be able to cover this up - it's one of the busiest areas of London. If you think they could then you have to ask why they didn't similarly conceal the de Menezes shooting later. The only logical answer is that they wanted you to know about the Stockwell killing, which makes no sense at all, since it was a disaster for them. The obvious conclusion is that the docklands reports were erroneous.

The only way to believe that they weren't is to

- assume the existence of a power that acts illogically but with inhuman efficiency
- assume that every report made erroneously that conforms with a conspiracist viewpoint is real; that official sources are axiomatically untrustworthy unless they say what you want;
- and thus those sources are simultaneously infallible and fallible

It's why you see conspiracists running into trouble when they use the 9/11 report or news evidence. In their excitement they forget that they have already disqualified this evidence. It is also a completely faith-based and circular form of reasoning, impervious to logic. If the mind has been made up then anything that refutes the conspiracy can be automatically disregarded while anything that corroborates it is by definition beyond reproach.

In order to believe that you have to be almost wilfully ignorant. There is mountains of evidence for Al Qaeda's existence, and muslim terrorism and antipathy to the west has a rich and deep history.
