Harry Dresden Files

Has anyone read the Harry Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. They're a fun series of books set in Chicago, albeit that they are set in Chicago isn't that consequential to enjoying the books.

Harry Dresden is a wizard, ("the only wizard in the Yellow Pages") and works to investigate various supernatural occurences in town. Jim Butcher has a frantic pace to his writing. You almost have to stop to catch your breath reading how Harry gets into one catastrophe after another. He also has developed a great sense of humor over the series of books.

If you want a quick, fun read you could do worst.
