I found a whole big list. Pope Benedict calls for peace in the mid east. He says violence is not the answer. Google search comes in handy.


Here's a tip. You might be better off searching the internet for world news instead of relying on the big mainstream media.

Vatican condemns Israel for attacks on Lebanon

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The Vatican on Friday strongly deplored Israel's strikes on Lebanon, saying they were "an attack" on a sovereign and free nation.

Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Angelo Sodano said Pope Benedict and his aides were very worried that the developments in the Middle East risked degenerating into "a conflict with international repercussions."

Yes, I missed reading Reuters. However I think the volume of other sources didn't warrant doing any additional searches. I suppose if someone gets their news by just watching ordinary TV or the local news, they'll be missing out on many things going on in the world.
