A CNN News Report is stating exactly what this thread title is. Reports are coming from AP.

More to come shortly, no doubt. No data for this is currently on the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program site yet.

MEXICO CITY, Mexico (Reuters) -- A strong earthquake was felt Friday in Mexico City, and some buildings were evacuated, witnesses said.

The tremor was also felt in the neighboring state of Morelos.

The strength of the earthquake was not immediately known or whether there were any casualties.
