They say an image (in this case cartoon) can say a thousand words.

Here is one from Cox and Forkum that says a million:



And the Nazi's werent even low enough to hide among the civilians and use kids for human shields...If that doesnt tell you something about Hezbullah and the rest of modern day terrorists and "insurgents" I dont know what does...

Anyway, I see what the cartoon is saying, but it could be viewed in a more humanitarian manner and taken at face value - that being the 'big guy' will not take innocent lives to remove an enemy.

But then again, such drastic action may be needed to remove the enemy. In the long run, I guess the decision would need to be made to go the route that would result in the fewest lives lost.

Similiar to the argument for the WWII atomic bomb drop. The idea being that while many, many lives were lost by dropping 'the bomb', many, many more would have been lost if the fighting were allowed to continue by not dropping 'the bomb'.
