Anyone familiar with munitions?

internal-combustion engines describe a specifc type of engine while saying "engine"(eg electric, steam) describes a whole bunch of different types of engines.

Same with thermobaric, it describes a speific way the explosive explodes instead of volumetric which includes a lot of other things like the flamethrower which is completly different in its purpose and workings to a FAE.
