i think it is possible to feel pain in dreams

it has happened to me several times that i can recall

i generally don't remember my dreams but i tend to remember the nightmares lol

physical pain i've experienced on different levels in different dreams. i've had various dreams where i was in a city full of zombies. usually i don't get bitten but the other night the dream started out with me and my entire group being attacked and subsequently infected. the bite hurt in the distinct way a bite does in real life only it wasn't quite as sharp.

i can't recall having ever had intense pain in a dream that didn't involve a real life leg cramp or something. i broke a couple of ribs before and the pain carried into my dream.

even though physical pain isn't nearly as bad i think those dreams where i get my heart broken cause emotional pain 10 times worse than what i have ever felt in the real world. i've woken up literally decimated and stayed down in the dumps for days over a dream but it was an absolutely horrible nightmare
