I've Lost A Good Friend Today......

A good man that I've known has died today, and I'll miss him greatly.

Pictured here with his grandson, taken a few days ago, you can see his health is failing.
But he had a strong spirit and enjoyed a fun Saturday night with my freinds and I, and then spent Father's Day with his family.

He passed in his sleep Monday morning....................



He was a kind and gentle man that cared for his daughter's son while she worked on her education, and I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

As sad as I am, I feel anger because he's left me.

Good-Bye Gary, I'll always remember you....................

Small consolation but they do say that passing in your sleep is the most peaceful way to go.

It's always a shock when someone close dies suddenly.
I caught a wiff of pipe tobacco today and found myself looking around to see if Gary was there, and of course he wasn't. I guess only time will heal this for me.

And, Yes, it's always tough when you lose a loved one.
One of those things that Don't get easier with time.

Anx I hope your doing alright. I know how it feels to lose somebody close, both times very unexpected. It takes awhile for the tears to pass, and longer for that feeling in your gut. Its a feeling nobody would wish upon their worst enemy.
