Jordanian terrorist mastermind Abu Musab al Zarqawi - the most wanted man in Iraq - has been killed in a US air raid..

Zarqawi was al Qaeda's leader in Iraq and was a key figure in the insurgency in which thousands of people have been killed.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki has confirmed Zarqawi's death at a press conference.
