Airbus has proposed a new seat...ummm...I mean backrest, for there airliners, so instead of a person and seat needing 31 to 30 inches, they will now
have 25 inches.
Boeings 787 has planned on having 8 seats in one row...but the majority of airliners are opting for the 9 seat config. And since 1978 the economy
class las lost 3 inches per person.
If airliners are stuggling so much to make money, why dont they come up with come creative innovative idea, instead of just saying "hey, lets just
raise ticket prices and cram more people in".?
I think it was Midwest airlines... I almost crapped myself when they told me the planes' seats are by Recaro. THAT was impressive - and they felt
great.
