In the past hour there have been 6 strange signals on Fox News.
My screen gets all scrambled and a beeping noise like Morris Code is heard.
It sounds like the beeping you hear when the National Emergency System announcment is about to come on.
Is anyone else hearing this?

I'm not able to watch now, but in my experience FOX always has plenty of technical errors going on all the time. I doubt any are signals.

I just heard it again and I have never heard anything like this on Fox before. It's kind of scary.
7 times in the last hour.
I live in Florida in case anyone wants to know.

Its means you are the chosen one. Go to the nearest McDonalds stock up on cheese burgers and chicken nuggets. And head for the hills!
Someone will contact you soon.

funny you mention this...

last night I'd say around 10:30 or so I had Fox on, heard this beeping alarm go off, for atleast 30 seconds, very different sounding from the emergency testing signal, I flipped to other channels and the noise was coming thru all of them.

I'm on comcast...i figured it was them doing something and not FOX persay.

If you have a ham operator in your neighborhood that could be the source of your problem, otherwise your cable company should be able to tell you if the problem originates from their end.

I'm on Bright House Cable and I haven't checked the other channels.
It feels so strange to hear this and the screen gets all scrambled when it happens.
This is so weird, especially since you said that it was on all the channels.

magica, my screen didn't get scrambled, I could see pictures on all the channels I flipped to, but no sound, just the wierd alarm.

Quite interesting - that could be the first emergency plan that I have ever seen involving chicken nuggets - make sure to take your tin foil hat and a clean change of underwear as well

Not to be rude, but which is it, morse code, which is a series of short beeps and longer 'dashes', or a long tone, like the NES?

It could be interference of some sort, especially if no one else with your cable provider in your area has experienced it. If not, it could be from fox, or it could be from the cable provider themselves.

I just called my cable company which is located 20 miles
from where I live and a they checked it out and said they
are getting the signal too and it is only on Fox News.
So, its not a ham radio.
He said that he is reporting it to the proper authorities
because it does sound supicious.
So I guess I won't be going to McDonalds after all..lol

Can you record some of the sound for analysis? I can host it if you have hosting problems.

I'm trying to set up my recorder on my computer because it is next to my tv.
I've been timeing this when it happens and there is a pattern.
Every 10 minutes I hear and see it on my tv.

Fox is sometimes used to send encoded attack commands to U.S. troops. Look for an invasion of Iran in the next day or two.

Are you kidding me?
I'm serious about this.

I wouldn't be surprised that something BIG is about
to happen because I have a BAD feeling about this
and my cable company is taking it serious too.

Did you get a sound byte yet? I'm anxious to put it through my new Tamatunamilk 2006 sound analyzer.

I started a thread a week ago about the increase in these tones and test. Glad to hear others are hearing it.

I'm trying to set up my recorder on my computer but I'm lost.
I can't seem to figure it out.
Can someone help?
I would like to read your thread, can you post a link to it?
I've been writing down the times I hear it and its happening every 10 min since 4:40 PM eastern time.
