help needed for Multi-region dvd player

Not sure if this is the thread i should be placing this''help''....if not then the mods can move it to the appropriate thread.....

I have a dvd player that i purchased a few months ago....I dont think it is a multi-region player.....
I have heard that it can be made to become a multi-region free player.....by using the dvd remote???
Is this true?
and does it work?

the best way I found to find out if your player is region free is to google:
*name and model of player* hack code
e.g. Hitachi PDV314 hack code

Then you should find websites that list how to use your remote to get into the players system and change the region code to '0'

yep you can i have done this with mine try dvd hack all dvd plays have it and easy found just type your dvd name n make or number and your away.
