Problem with file formats when uploading!!

Trying to upload an interview I organised on the topic of Mind-Control and Programming, however the problem i'm receiving when uploading is that the file format is not supported. I thought this was quite strange as the file is in MP3 format. The only thing I can think of is the sample bit rate im using. Its set to 8 and in Mono. The reason I did this was even though its poor quality, its manageable for upload as its less than 1mb. Otherwise the file becomes around 8 megs at standard bitrate sampling.

Any idea's out there?????
I would love to podcast it, please let me know if you have any further idea's.

8 MG is a smaller size podcast. I bet because the bitrate is so low the system doesn't recognize it.

Also, keep trying, I've seen this error before and multiple upload attempts have overcome it.

Did you try IE like I mentioned, Merger?

Convert it to 16 bit, see what happens. It might solve all your problems.

I will have to wait for a bit...some issues needing sorting out first, will do it once i get the all clear.
