Sightings in Sydney

I live in a suburb of Melbourne on the Mornington Pennensula and over the last few days I've seen three blackhawks. Why? Is there a nation wide military operation?

I've NEVER EVER seen a blackhawk in flight before outside of an airshow.... why now..? In a suburb? Weird...

What I think is interesting is this:

If you look at his posting dates and times they are all on the 12th of 4 different months in "05."
May, June, July and I believe Oct. Why only post on the 12th of every month. Times are similiar also.

Am I missing something but doesn't this seem weird to you?

I work very close to the old Laverton Air Force Base. Yesterday there was a military helicopter performing circular training drills around the area.

Maybe it is some sort of military exercise going on?
