If this is your homework then I cant help you on it. Maybe you can use some links that would help you on the military warfare. How far in technology do you want to see? 2010? 2030? 2100?

Sorry, but that request is a bit vague. I know that Google is a great search engine-perhaps using that? Or at least helping us out by narrowing the field down a bit.

Well, I am not sure that ATS is the place for you.

You need someone that can look into the future, I would suggest finding a man named John Titor. You see he is FROM the future and should be able to answer all of your teachers questions for your report. Do a google on him.

This reminds me of a story my assistant Mr. Beezer told once:

The Ant and the Grasshopper

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Do you OWN work!

Ahhh you gotta love ole Bezzer..huh?

why doent any one help this guy with his home work?

wats wrong with telling him?

its the same as looking in a book, only he is asking from a person.

nect time any of you kids goto a book looking to do a home work thing i hope its pages are blank and a note says " go out into the feild and do your own research lazy bastard, your not getting any help from me"

any way as for future wars, i really dont think it will be to diffrent from now.

people will still have to kill other people.

but whos military are you talking about?

maybe a couple of the rich countries will have super advanced weapons, but these arnt going to be the ones fighting the wars? are they?

it will be like the majority of the wars today, third world militias and pirates in civil wars.

they will be fought using ak's and ex-riuch country weapons.

or they might involve a larger country, like veitnam, which has an army of about 400,000 i think. but i cant really see them getting the newest us weaponary. can you?

I would do the paper on ancient weapons and say that after the next World War this will be the technology of the future. Quote Einstein on it. Should work and would probably be as feasable as anything else.

The future of war will see enemy combatants with full exoskeleton armor engaged in close combat. Some of these combatants will fight for social allegiance, while others will be lone warriors, whose only contact with others will be for breeding. The battles may look something like this:
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

I'd like it noted, that I did provide some links to sites about weapons systems that could be in use in the future.

There's a thread floating around ATS about a "gay bomb" or something. You drop the bomb on the battlefield and all the soldiers turn gay and jump on top of one another. One second you're Norman Schwarzkopf and the next you're George Michael.

That's a devastating device!!!

Peace

Yes I was kidding, what do you think I am a cold hearted, no helping, "do your own work" preaching, grasshopper killer?

Well, I most certainly am not. And Mr. Beezer will verify this if the need arises!

I meant about John Titor, you seriously don't believe all that bunk do you?

I guess I probably should have made that clear.

I won't do all your work for you, but here are some things on the board, that will most likely see service in the next few decades:

For the army:

OICW (Objective Individual Combat Weapon

For the Navy:

DDX

For The Marines:

V-44

For the Air Force:

FALCON/Hypersoar

BTW, a good source to check out is
GlobalSecurity.org. It should at least get you started.

I would also offer that there is a wealth of information right here on ATS. Check out the aircraft and military forums. I would especially point you towards posts by IntelGurl in the Aircraft forum, as she is an actual industry insider, and writes VERY informative threads.

Here is a "fun" thread I started about John Titor, I think you may like it, so give it a read!
