Google's just fine on this end.
Slow/negative response can result from a few things -- local problems with routers (there have been problems with Warcraft lately that seem to be
related to which backbone your ISP is on (backbone=Major Internet Route). Google also updates and changes their software periodically, which can also
cause connections to become slow and intermittant for brief periods of time.
I think the only possible way to hack Google is to make it an inside job (they'e got massively distributed servers), but it's possible to "smurf"
them; to overwhelm the site with requests for page reads.
