I know what this study is, however, I'm not sure of how well it really works. It kind of hit one aspect of me right on the nose though...

You are great at dealing with people and also do well in any "front line" occupation. For instance many crisis workers, emergency care workers and leaders of self- groups are fives. You need a job that allows you to meet a lot of people as well as brings you a variety of interesting experiences.

I got this report from 123numerology.com (I believe), it was advertised in one of the google ads, it's an interesting place to check out at the least.

As for me, numerology that is done by Kabbalistic methods will really show you the depths of your being..
It takes a while, I did one on Bob Dylan, and it gave up a lot of his secrets..
Nice thing for us to dis-cuss..thanks for the post.

Your very welcome, I found this quite interesting, and knew it would be a great thing to learn more about.

Could you explain some Kabbalistic methods?

Let me lead you to this link, as it is very complicated and the Hebrew numbers mean a lot more of wisdom from one's birth data than does the English numerology..I need a person's birth data and full given name..

Hope this helps..

numerology is hugely important to the study of Qabalism, and with a great many other of the higher sciences, remember that Pathagoris said "everything lies veiled in numbers"

Remember also that before there were letters, there were number, and letters only exist because of them

Amen to that, study of this treatise takes a lot of time..and as well should know math rules the Universe.
As my messianic teacher Robert Alan Zimmerman has quoted when asked how he would describe himself, he said I am a mathematical writer..profound from this recluse.
Are you into numerology?
I do palmistry, hypnosis, tarot cards and trance and I fine the Kabbalah helps me in all these areas..

I am interested in numerology mainly as it pertains to Qabalism, same with my interest in the tarot. but i try not to limit myself in any form of study and knowledge, save for limiting myself as to what i need that day.

I am happy there are so many evolved ones on this board..
They do not speak often, but what they has deep meaning..
I feel 'rushed' to communicate as much as I am able.
If it resounds with others, wonderful if not so be it.
Keep up the good works, your needs will be met.

PS: I use these studies for alchemy as well. You?

Truth be told i havent taken my studies seriously untill recently.. i was (as they say) "Awakened" some ten years ago. All at once i was exposed to wicca, qabalism, rune craft.. and a bunch of other things, but at the age one 19 one rarely cares about such things.. so i made note of what had changed in me, what had changed around me, and how i fit into things after that moment.. looking back i am reminded of something the Buddha said "when you become enlightented, nothing changes".

So i have only recently taken a strong interest in Qabalism, only about 5 or 6 months now. it only seemed right, all most all western esoteric arts are based on it, even the practictioners of runecraft borrow from the Qabalistic tree of life in their world tree, heck its almost the same thing.

But i have yet to get into alchemy, i feel that i have many other things to study at the moment, but maybe you could reccomend some good reading on the subject?

hmm i suppose i should also make mention of a good book on numerology, the book that i have is "Numerology and the Divine triangle" by faith javane & dusty bunker. It covers the basics (The soul urge, life path, life lesson), as well as touching on numerology and the bible and the numerology of the tarot

And ya know.. i too often feel "rushed" to share with others.. not only do i feel rushed in the physical sense, like it must be done and i have to do it immediately.. but speaking of such things often brings on a rush of adrenaline that is unmatched even when i am in the grip of primal response to threats or danger

I like to work with herbal craft. It really helps me in my life and my meditations. For herbal craft I highly recomend Ann Maura's Green Witchcraft series, good informative stuff.

I try not to stay to close to one path but the natural Witchcraft stuff feels like a homecoming to me.

i'm not comfortable with how people use the term natural, all things that exist are part of nature, even man, thus all that man does is natural, even if it isnt a positive act. but i understand that you mean natural as in non-synthetic

but i digress

as the grandson of a farmer and the son of an avid gardener i have a NATURAL (
) love of botany and herblism.. but herbalism is just a small but important and specialised form of alchemy.

again i digress, my purpose of this post was to thank Sirius for the wikipedia link, i have always belived that Qabalism is the marriage of science and philosophy, and an online encyclopedia is the perfect place to see such a marriage in action.

oh and since i am here again, you guys should check out the second entry in my blog, it is a short essay i wrote, and it is just the sort of thing a Qabalist would dig
