CNN thinks Bush can run again, another reason to watch Fox!

think about it this way:

In the 1860 election, there was Lincoln and Douglas

Lincoln had 39% popular vote opposed to Douglas with 29% , (and 2 other candidates...)

regardless, Lincoln had 180 electoral votes, and Douglas had 12, freaking 12.

Now tell me how Bush can't win a screwy election with barely enough electoral votes, even when he loses the popular vote by a long shot.

Which, not to go completely off-topic or anything, is why I LOVE the proportional representation by preferential vote we have in Oz.

See, that's the problem with democracy right there. Terry Pratchett was right. Obviously I should get a vote as I am clearly an intelligent, informed responsible adult, but it also means that idiot over there gets an equal right to choose and everyone can tell he's a numbskull with no clue whose opinion wouldn't even be listened to in the pub at 3am on Sunday morning.
