MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin has given instructions to Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss with Tehran the possible involvement of Iran in the Caspian security organization CASFOR.

"As for an organization to maintain peace, order and security in the Caspian, all littoral states, including Iran, should be involved in its operations," Putin said at a Cabinet meeting on Monday.

Lavrov said that he will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart in Moscow on Monday, at which Caspian issues will top the agenda.
