whats the name of this serias
its about this person who goes into this time machine thingy
but can only go back a day or so

That show was called Early Edition but there was no time machine in it, well not that I remember anyway !!

Out of all the times I've watched Early Edition, I can never remember seeing a time machine on there.

its not doctor who

because the thingy is more shaped like a hexigon

he can go back a few days ( but its only a one way trip each time )
he works for some goverment agency
