Senomyx's Fake Flavors

I do not know if anyone has brought this up... its kind of old news from a few months back... but for those of you who still consume things with "artificial flavors" there are now a new breed of chemicals included in that heading that have no flavor of their own but trick you into thinking that there is more salt/sugar/etc. in what you are eating.

From their website at www.senomyx.com...

"Senomyx is a biotechnology company using proprietary taste receptor-based assays and screening technologies to discover and develop novel flavors, flavor enhancers, and taste modulators"

Taste modulators... mmmmm. yummy.

One should note to self... be even more weary of "artificial flavors" in the ingredient list.
