I am going to announce that I am dropping out of the ATS elections. I was running for the position of X-Council, but now that appears that I cannot anymore.

The reason to this is that I am applying at University for Biochemistry/Microbiology (I have quite an extended knowledge of science, that's why I attempted to run for X-Council). I need to focus all my attention on my studies and other projects, and going full time as a councillor would have an effect on my education. This event just came up recently and wasn't a priority when I signed up for the election.

I started this thread to inform the person in charge of the elections, I wasn't quite sure who to send a U2U to (Simon, Springer, Skeptic, Current council members, etc). Sorry for the inconveiniance to anyone involved.

As The Eagle Flies

GE, sorry you can't run, but obviously your priorities are sensible.

For any sort of individual thing like this, I recommend using the Gripe/Idea feature to let the staff know.

Just submit your "complaint" that way and the staff will make sure the right people know about it.

At least, that's what I do.

Good luck with your application!
