This just came up on the BBC site, police are yet to reveal details of the man in custody...all though it does say he was Tazared...i would pretty much reckon he resisted arrest.

This is standard procedure nowadays.
You leave your bag, you risk being arrested. Then you loose the bag through a controlled detonation.

There are signs up at every airport/bus station etc reminding us of this.

I cant understand the mentality of some people who disregard these warnings.

I don't think this was just left luggage:


    Officers were called at about 0830 BST and arrested the man after a struggle on the apron, where planes are parked.

    The BBC understands a man had been seen with a package underneath a plane.


Hardly covert though were it terrorism related.
