After much handwringing, heated debate and EMOTIONAL terpitude...

The winners are: (that's right they were so good we had to pick TWO!)

DarkHelmet

ATS: Denying Ignorance since 1997

AlienS

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Springer, Simon Gray and SkepticOverlord...

Good job everyone.

I like the paranoid one. That will definitely be a conversation piece.

First one I like.

Second one... no thanks.

It's uber cliched and not original at all.

I didnt want to say anything but I agree with Nerdling on this one. The first one is ok but the second one I am disappointed that it was chosen.

Yea but some time knock off's are good because people are already used to the saying. Personally I like them both for different reasons.

Good Job

In defense of AlienS's submission, I think it is quite humourous and goes back to the roots of ATS as a hardcore conspiracy theory website.

While this and DarkHelmut's were both my favourites, just to level the playing field, I don't think I've ever seen a fast-food restaurant, magazine, newspaper, clothing label that doesn't have a "since 19xx" slogan on it's merchandise! So originality can go out the window.

Anyway, we shouldn't be disagreeing with our winners, we should be applauding them for winning!

If we all wanted was originality we'd have made them up ourselves...

Now wouldn't we?

I still feel ATS deserves an outstanding slogan. IMO neither slogan that was chosen is outstanding. The first one is just like everyone else since 1906. The second is just blah, not special.

Anyway congrats to the winners

Congrats to the winners!

I guess this means I'll never get into RATS.

lol

Although these aren't my favorites, I guess I look at things differently.

ATS: Denying Ignorance since 1997

kind of implies to me that others call you ignorant and you're in denial since 1997 If you hadn't been here you wouldn't know where its coming from

I do like the paranoia one though ... lol been there done that... quite recently too

anyway, congrats to the winners and losers too, there were some great ones.

Congrats to AlienS and DarkHelmut. I don't understand this statment though, "If we all wanted was originality we'd have made them up ourselves" was that a joke?

Congrats to all the winners, but look at the glaring similarity between my idea "ATS: Opening Minds since 1997" which was posted before Dark Helmets I might add, and Dark Helmets winning slogan.

Somehow..........................just somehow I knew this was going to happen. How 'bout a sniff from the staff? Fair is Fair.

Peace

p.s. To whom it may concern. It matters to me not that you pay this post no mind. We all know where one of the winning ideas really came from, don't we? Gravytraining rears it's ugly head again.

Cliched? Like use of the word 'uber' in english sentences?

Congratulations to the winners.
