No you said they might be terrorist. Prior to this reply.

I never said they "might be terrorists". I said "I might class them as a terrorist organisation. But that does not necessarily mean they ARE terrorists." Which meant that even though I do class them as terrorists it doesnt mean they are. Indicating how I believe "terrorist" is subjective. Comprende?

Oh, not only in my opinion.

There must be a reason why Hezbollah is still viewed as a terrorist group, despite election role, right?

No one was talking about that Riwka. The whole point of the discussion is that Lebanese people agree with Hezbollah and they do not view them as terrorists. Terrorist is a negative term and if they agreed with what Hezbollah were doing they wouldnt think of them as terrorists! That other people (such as yourself) view them as terrorists, that I view them as terrorists, does not change how the Lebanese view them! This plays into why I dont think Bakri will be charged with any crime in Lebanon! He is not doing anything that the Lebanese people do not agree with!

He is blacklisted in UAE and cannot enter the country.

Yes I know but that is due to him breaking the law in their country. BBC news reported that he is a wanted man in the UAE and that if he was caught in the UAE he would be arrested for his past crimes (i.e. wanted man, not that they want him to enter their country)

Easy done. Ever heard of UN Resolution 181?

That doesnt answer my question. Zionists employed terrorists tactics to get the British out of their Palestine Mandate. They did this in order to precipitate a Jewish homeland. There is no difference to this and Bakri's, and other muslim radicals, desires to create a muslim state. The fact that a UN resolution was passed doesnt change how the Zionists went about getting that resolution.

Also while you are quoting UN resolutions. have you ever heard of:

Security Council Resolution 242, Nov. 22, 1967
Israel's occupation of Palestine is Illegal.

UN Resolution 252
Declares invalid Israel's acts to unify Jerusalem as Jewish capital.

Security Council Resolution 446, March 22, 1979
Israel's settlements in Palestine are Illegal.

UN Resolution 270
Condemns Israel for air attacks on villages in southern Lebanon.

UN Resolution 313
Demands that Israel stop attacks against Lebanon.

UN Resolution 316
Condemns Israel for repeated attacks on Lebanon.

UN Resolution 332
Condemns Israel's repeated attacks against Lebanon.

UN Resolution 337
Condemns Israel for violating Lebanon's sovereignty.

UN Resolution 347
Condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

UN Resolution 425
Calls on Israel to withdraw its forces from Lebanon.

UN Resolution 427
Calls on Israel to complete its withdrawal from Lebanon.

UN Resolution 444
Deplores Israel's lack of cooperation with UN peacekeeping forces.

And on and on for the past 50 years.

I think its safe to say that Israel picks and chooses which UN resolutions it abides by. Can you give me a reason why Resolution 181 should be respected, whilst Israel flouts hundreds of subsequent resolutions?

I can see why the Lebanese people accept what Hezbollah do to Israel. Lord knows the Israeli's dont listen to peaceful calls to halt their activities.

Alright, enough jacking of this thread. If you guys want to do this, take it elsewhere. Another thread? Another forum? I don't care.

I see this a viable topic, not in this thread though.

Thank you.

Hey subz, the UN is a joke. Israel figured this out many, many years ago.

Yeah, just as Iran has pretty much told the UN to stuff it, too, huh?
Seems they have figured out that the UN is a joke, as well.
