the point system .....IS IT DAFT???

I think the system is sometimes daft . The points scheme is a good way to hang on to members and have the posting updated a lot, but sometimes people just thread and post just for the sake of it .e.g. like one ive seen today with the mystery creature….an otter!!!! It just wastes peoples reading time.
