Astronaught Training!?

I have dreamnt of becoming an astronaught all my life, and when i searched it up on the net i couldnt find any sites regarding any information on how people become astronaughts ? am i just blind and cant find any ?
or is the gov trying to keep it a secret and just have military pilots and scientists involved?

Plenty non military people go thru astonaut training but usually they have a PHD in some dicipline that helps further the reasearch NASA deems important. How are your studies coming? A good foundation in Math and the hard sciences I would think to be a prerequisite for becoming a pilot first then an astronaut. Good Luck!
