Hey everyone, ive been reading these boards for a few weeks, i just signed up as a member, some of the things posted here make sense to me, some
dont, and alot of it is very interesting. I myself have had quite a number of strange things happen to me over the course of my life, some of which I
have tried to explore or explain, and some of which I have kind of put on the back burner till recently.
I understand the disdain for extremely lengthy posts, so I will start from the begining chronlogically, and try and give you all an idea of my
experiences with multiple posts.
I will start first, with my childhood experiences :
First a little background :
I grew up here in canada, i have a younger brother, and an even younger sister, and my mother and father have stayed together the whole time (amazing
for us north americans hah)
I grew up in an old house, after my parents purchased it from the last living remnants of the previous owners who were 1 brother, and 4 sisters, (one
of the sisters was still alive at the time). They supposedly never had any kids, and left all their possessions to a particular priest at a nearby
church. (And just so you know, I know the lawyer who organized it, and I can get his name, and my dad says he doesnt work at that church anymore)
Anyways. The very first day we walked into the house, my brother was still a little baby, my sister hadnt been born yet, and i was a little kid
myself. My dad and I went in to look around his house, and i went to go see upstairs right? And i stood at the base of the stairs looking up, and at
the top was a short red haired kid standing behind the railing looking down at me. I yelled "hello" he ran off, made no sound (Which at this point
i didnt think was abnormal). So i tell my dad someone is here, he says oh it must be one of the neighboorhood kids. so im like ok im going to go find
him. I go upstairs, and looked around didnt find him.
Fast forwards a few weeks, we are living in the house, and my mom gets me to go clean the stairs. I walk up the steps and as i reach the L shaped
curve just before going up a few more steps to the very top, I feel pressure on my hest as if two hands are pushing me, and I fall backwards down the
stairs tumbling in a heap at the bottom, luckily I was not hurt, my mom says i was clumsy, but that was the only time in my life ive ever fallen down
the stairs and i was leaning FORWARDS when i felt the push.
From that point on random stuff started happening, which to this day my parents cant explain. Waking up to the feeling of my sheets and blankets
being pulled off, or my pillow missing when i wake up only to find it under my bed in a position that would not have resulted from shifting around and
dropping the pillow on the ground. Or the most annoying ones, light switches being flicked on and off, or toys being buried in the front lawn (taken
from a high shelf in a closet). OR the most annoying, the opening of my closet door, while my room door was locked, eventually i started leaving the
closet door locked, that solved the buried toy problem.
On the other hand, my brother had a wider range of experiences, he would come out his room in the middle of the night and sleep in my room, or my
parents room, because the red haired boy was sitting in his room watching him sleep, and he couldnt stand it. or hed wake up and his windows would be
open and his heater turned off (this happened to me a few times). He was in the habit of locking his room door as well. These are old fashioned
locked where if you leave the key in the lock theres no way to pick it from the outside physically.
every so often, wed swap rooms and id sleep in his room, and hed sleep in mine, id be sleeping and then id feel someone shake me and wake up and see
nothing, then go back to sleep and feel a cold wind come into the room, and go close the windows. etc
One funny part of all this is, that we were renovating the house slowly throughout the whole time we lived there, so the window thing stopped
happening when we changed from old style pulley / up/down type windows to modern turn crank open/close type windows, i guess that "kid" couldnt
figure out the new kind of window.
Through all the time that i did live with my family in that house, we had pets of various kinds, lots of fish, and the occasional cat. When i say
occasional cat, i mean just that, beacuse none of them lasted long, wed bring the cat into the house, and it would run around like someone was chasing
it with a cattle prod, or they would hide in dark places and just hide, or try and stick around people and hide if people werent around.. The very
last cat my parents had before they moved out of that house, was the only cat that didnt totally freak out in that house. It would do weird thigns
however, it would suddenly wake up from a nap and track things with its head/eyes, as if something was passing. then go back to sleep.
I have a bunch of answers to questions you might ask, i will compile them and make another post in reply to this one, as im not even finished the part
about that house ;o
