Plane flew into Whitehouse Airspace, last weeks UFO cover up?

It seems obvious that a small plane got lost and entered restricted airspace in Washington, fair enough. Everyone was evacuated, Secret Service went into gear and the airforce scambled and escorted the plane back, everthing is nice and sound.

But, the end of the story referenced the 'Dense Cloud' that attacked the Whitehouse only last week.

"On April 27, Bush went to an underground shelter and Vice President Dick Cheney was taken to a secure location after security officials received a false alarm that an unidentified aircraft had entered the restricted space near the White House.
It was quickly learned that it was a false alarm and that all was clear within minutes. Enditem "

Interesting that it's been called a 'Unidentified Aircraft', ie. UFO which is the exact same definition, other press settled on 'dense cloud' or 'flock of birds'.

So my point is, don't you find it interesting that a week after an admitted UFO caused the exact same commotion, we have a small two seater plane drift aimlessly into this very same airspace?

I guess it will depend what comes of this and the people involved but what better way to dismiess a UFO encounter the week before, than by having basically the same event happen again but this time be caught live on camera and have an actual identification made that it was just a 'small plane'.

I'm not trying to say it wasn't a small plane this time but rather, this small plane was possibly flown into this space so they could re-create the UFO scramble the week before but this time have a nice, normal, logical explanation for the news so people forget the UFO story and make an assumption that it must of just been something like what happened today.

It smells of a distraction to disminish last weeks events.
Could be nothing thou of course, just wouldn't put it past this administration.

What I think is funny is hat they made so much fun of Hussein hiding in a hole in the ground when US Forces caught him. Looks like our leader do the same thing, but in more lavish conditions...

Yeah, exactly. The US government do a lot of what they criticise and mock.

Thou, depending on who you read, Saddam wasn't found in a hole. Some say he was being kept in a hole by Kurds who wanted the ransom, others say the hole thing was all a set up by the US because he was given to them and there was no US Glory in the real events. This isn't the right board for that discussion thou, but it's worth looking into.

Yeah I thought all this business was strange too. All hell broke loose down there.

That is a bizzare coincidence, the UFO thing happening not too long ago, and being very quickly buried as a news story.

I have two theories, one is the same as SOM's and the other is, does the government know something we don't? Is there some chatter on the airwaves, some tip-off that hasn't been leaked to the press... hence the heightened security measures? Or is this all just happenstance... as usual us peons will never know the truth.

Personally, without further evidence, there doesn't seem reason to doubt it.

Did any witnesses see a UFO? No.
Are any pictures, videos circulating of a UFO on the days in question? No.

We may WANT it to be the case, but the evidence doesn't support that anything other than what was claimed happened. I do agree that something seems to have heightened their awareness in DC though...but as to what, who knows.

Bush wasn't even in the White house when the plane came into Washington's airspace. How did Bush do the same thing Hussein did?

OR..............The small plane was flown in to restricted airspace to cover-up what the F-16's were really dealing with up there. What better way to divert attention and at the same time legitimize everything. I think it's funny that some dude in a crop duster brought Washington D.C. to it's knees.

I think he was refering to last weeks episode when the 'Unidentified aircraft', AKA, 'dense cloud' or 'flock of birds' caused the radar to go off and send Bush down into a bunker.

I agree that there is no "direct proof of ufo's" no videos no pictures no witnesses' apparently... However it does seem a little odd that at first it was unidentified than changed to birds or clouds>? Huh? I would assume within a 50 mile radius of Washington D.C. you would have the most advanced radar systems anywhere in the world? How does a mistake like this occur? Do a flock of birds and or clouds move at a speed that would be assumed to be a "unidentified aircraft".
