Once of the best home remedies for a 'regular' headache is using aromatherapy. Just dab peppermint oil along your hairline or where it used to be, if you don't have one. Then put it on the pulse points on your neck, behind the ears and on your wrists. It has a really nice cooling effect, too. I have no clue why this works, but it does.

then he said that the pharmacy corporation (or who-ever sells the pills for migraines) would NEVER let this cure get into the market because they would go out of business (the company of migraine pills will go out of business)...

HeadOn is a homeopathic topical product intended for headache relief, produced by Miralus Healthcare.[1] Although intended uses are not listed on the website or in the commercial spot, the purported purpose of the product is to assuage headaches after being applied directly to the forehead.[1]
Chemical analysis has shown that the product consists almost entirely of wax. The two listed active ingredients, white bryony (a type of vine) and potassium dichromate, are diluted to .000001 PPM and 1 PPM respectively.[2] This amount of dilution essentially leaves no trace of the active ingredients whatsoever, so the product is essentially a placebo.[3]
Correspondence has been published with a statement from HeadOn Customer Service that "It works through the nerves."[4]

I want to know what's up with this stuff. If it's homeopathic and this company is pushing it so hard, what else is in it and what long-term effect will it have?

Nothing more than what they state, unless it's been adulterated with other stuff during manufacture. Because of the way it got onto the market, there's no tight control of the way it's made.
The claim is correct... there's essentially no more than perhaps one molecule of the substances in the entire stick of wax. Now... if one molecule was effective, think how much MORE effective a cup of bryony tea with a tablet of potassium dichromate would be.
