Sec Blinken Forgets that the US currently stands at $31 Trillion in debt.
While currently rising towards to $32 Trillion in debt.

They thought that the sanctions would cripple Russia's ecmocny instated it is opposite.

Germany is now facing a recession.

The US is a Nation of 32 trillions Sec of State Mocks Russia's economy

what it could have become had Putin invested in technology and innovation rather than weapons and war.

Imagine what America could have become if America invested in peace in the past 20 years?

Military Spending by Country 2023
Imagine all the 778 billion if they invested in other sectors. The US is the only nation that spends more on its Military spending than any other nation in the world.

Not even India spends this much on its military.

Is this "the opposite" of being crippled?

www.theguardian.com...

From the Guardian. A trusted source of yours.

"The pair concluded that Russia’s recession last year was broader and deeper than the official figures showed once the focus is switched to non-military activity. They said private consumption fell 4% and not the 1.8% in the official numbers, though a definitive assessment stripping out all aspects of military spending was impossible.

Even official measures give a clue to the damage caused to the non-military economy. Russia’s total goods imports in December 2022 were down by about 20% year on year, while technology imports slumped 30%. Last year car production was down 67%, excavation machinery down 53% and television receivers down by 36% with no end to the cut in production likely while sanctions of vital components remain in place."

is also currently facing a cost of living crisis marked by high inflation rates (8.1% in March 2023). Meanwhile, the Meloni-led government has resorted to anti-worker and anti-union policies and prioritized the war efforts in Ukraine.

Pfft mere peanuts.

Remember they SUSPENDED the debt ceiling until 2025, IOW the mother of blank checks... and the mother of kicking the can past the next election!! I don't believe their spending cut proposals for a second.

You mean that far right govt in Italy that hasn't done anything for the people? migrants are still coming into Italy.

Italy's coast guard, navy, bring hundreds of migrants ashore

came in the face of a crackdown by Italy's right-wing government

Not much of a crackdown when the Fascist government is accepting the arrivals.

Didn't you also say last winter that it was the warmest?

Considering the weather was warmest in most countries.

Well, plenty of sources are out there but you won't like any of them.

How about you actually posting one to support your claim?

Instead of deflecting about other countries?

Imagine what America could have become if America invested in peace in the past 20 years?

Imagine what Russia would still have been if not for this pointless war.

The problem Russia is facing is if you send your working age men to a meat grinder labour shortages will effect your economy.

Also, all the working age men that have fled conscription probably doesn't help, either.

Still waiting for a source for glorious record tractor production figure.

Car production down 67% apparently.
