As President Joe Biden embarks on his reelection campaign, just 33% of American adults say they approve of his handling of the economy and only 24% say national economic conditions are in good shape, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

Public approval of Biden’s handling of the economy remains low in a time of high inflation, a difficult housing market and concerns about a potential U.S. government debt default. American opinion is also gloomy about Biden’s efforts on gun policy and immigration, with only 31% saying they approve of the president’s performance on those hot button issues. Overall, 40% say they approve of the way Biden is doing his job, similar to where his approval rating has stood for much of the past year and a half.

That's pretty bad. Only 40% of Americans approve of Biden, about the same level as Trump had at this point. And only 33% of the people think he is doing a good job on economy. I'm one of the 67% who think the economy is not on the right track, for whatever reason. Two years in, it is not ok to blame the old president any more, your own policies should be coming into effect by now. Things should be getting better.

Difficult place we're all in, one one side we can choose this, a suffering economy and general incompetence or on the other side, a path devolving into straight fascism, taking away women's rights, the rights of gay people and others, banning free thought, books and so on.

I think we can do better than any of these choices we are currently given.

He is a pile of crap, as is his policy.

As is your description of any alternative:

Please, source the “banning free thought” claim.
I will wait…..

I wasn't aware that anyone on the left had any integrity at all. It's refreshing to see it, if only for a fleeting glance.
Yes, at some point, blaming the other guy has to be set aside and personal responsibility must make an appearance.

And the interesting part is Trump was browbeaten by the MSM with an over 90% negative coverage, and Biden is overwhelmingly protected by the same group, and his numbers are still here. I don't think anyone knew it could get this bad this quick.

Biden's own daughter has accused him of sexually molesting her. He's on film groping and sniffing (!!!) multiple kids and women. He thinks he's much smarter than you are:

He lies about hundreds of things that don't matter and hundreds more that do.
He co-authored drug reform laws which led to an exponential incarceration rate for black Americans and women while pulling strings to keep his druggie son out of trouble and employed (getting millions of dollars for his "expertise")
He is either stupid or feigns being so, demented, and a sower or division.
He tells black people to vote for them or that they aren't black.
He waxes poetic in eulogies for KKK.
There's more but he's not worth any more of my time.

I wonder, do you honestly believe this, or are you just puking up the talking points?

Taking away womens rights - Um, no, the decision was tossed back to the States since it's not mentioned at all in the Constitution. Each state has the right/authority/Duty to decide what's best based on the decisions of the people who live in that state. Much more fair than a blanket rule. For clarity, what if the blanket rule was a strict ban on abortion? Had that been the case, you and yours likely would have argued it be a states rights issue, for the same reasons.

Banning books? How about removing porn from elementary school libraries. Name one book that's been banned.

What rights do gay people not have, that they used to have?

What free thought have you been denied?

Since you used some integrity in the OP, I'll reciprocate with honest debate, and leave the snark out, for now. I'd appreciate your clarification on the points I brought up.

That's because I'm not on the left. I'm in the middle. I hate corruption anywhere.

I just seem left compared to where you stand.

Best advice I can give you is turn the TV off.
Seriously, just hit the off button and look with your own eyes, your own thoughts.
They call television shows "programming" for a reason.

This advice goes for those that see themselves as liberals or conservatives.
This does not apply to leftist, the new true fascism in America. No advice can help these folks.

Funny, I don't see myself as far right either.

Do you have answers for the questions I asked?

From Wiki:

Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

Which party forced lockdowns? Mandatory vaccinations? Which party directed the CIA, FBI, DOJ, etc. to act on their behalf, going so far as to infiltrate social media with botts to shut down free speech and spread disinformation? Who has insisted on NO country interfering in Ukraine with peace talks?

When one insists on viewing the world through a lens of bias they overlook a lot of facts. Obama was one of the most fascist presidents we ever had....until now.

fyi

JOE BIDEN finally admitted he graduated in the bottom 10% of his class.

Last week, however, the presidential candidate said at a news conference that he had finished 76th in a law school class of 85. Records he released indicated he had a partial, need-based scholarship as well as student loans.
Source: www.latimes.com...

KNOWING THIS, Americans still gave Joe Biden a landslide red-carpet entry to the Presidency on November 3, 2020.

What should be our punishment for being so stupid? What do we deserve??

What is CRT if not an imposed natural hierarchy of groups based upon perceived victimhood status?

Yes turn the TV off. Your thoughts are not your own and they’re not even true.
