I'm really pissed what is taking place in American leadership at the moment. At 18 I joined the military and spent 2 years in South East Asia at the time. This music brings back so many memories of staying in the bamboo huts off base that had really no doors on them, well half a door anyway.
This music was blasting in the air till the evening eyes closed. ( I asked myself these days, did my eyes really ever close )

“Proud to be an American” was always blasted all across the base as a 4-5 day exercise wrapped up, at Kunsan AB.
Whenever I hear that song I feel like I’m over there.
The end of one of those exercises always felt like Christmas.

This a song I wrote. Need some earphones I think.
It's a story of us Vets. Based on a true event in my life.
Its a bit strange, because this morning its still raining.
