Iapetus Mars Moon anomalies

Hi everyone, longtime lurker, first time poster! Great board, thanks to everyone for all the awesome reading! Well i am writing this post to address the issue (which i am sure has been addressed into stone by now) of WHY OH WHY does not just our govt but others as well just look at all the strange and unusual "formations" around our solar system and INVESTIGATE THEM!!! It really bugs me that ME, being not a planetary geologist, nor a jpl photo specialist nor a NASA phd can PLANELY see some very strange looking things on these three places and NO ONE?!?! is interested enough to simply examine further!?!?! I just dont understand. All the govt's of our world cant all be in on it. Someone has to take action. Maybe a petition is in order. With accompanying (sp) picture evidence. I mean COME ON the moon is what a hop skip and a jump away and we havent been back there in 30 plus years. It just seems like we're being taken for fools. It is very condescending to me being (somewhat) intelligent and curious about our universe. I for one would welcome hard evidence of previous or alien civilization. Imagine ...the Weekly World News would be right for the first time in its publishing life!! My .02. Thanks for letting me rant. And its great to be here!!
