Pre-Darko, it seemed like so long as the site was getting traffic, the site owner(s) didn't even care all that much about what the posters were saying (as long as it wasn't flat-out violent), even if it chased off 90% of the really interesting/insightful potential members...I'm not trying to bash the admins/mods, and in fact, I do not blame them that much, as the site had no leadership that was actively involved with it, and it's totally understandable that without that, being a mod (especially an admin) that's trying their best to make the forum enjoyable for everyone without letting the 10% bad actors ruin it for the 90% was a lot like trying to herd cats.

That's why Darko and I are here and actively engaged on the site, now.

What we're doing is quite literally the opposite of that approach, because we understand that, regardless of the $$$ aspect of things, a site with the former is never going to grow/develop into anything even POTENTIALLY profitable for ANYONE down the line.

We like playing the long game, not the short one

As for our own political opinions, Darko and I don't even always agree, and neither of us sees that as a bad thing: We still have interesting convos w/ one another, without it ever turning into a mud-slinging contest or anything that causes resentment or LT problems. We are looking for members on the forum who are of that same mindset: People don't HAVE to agree with each other on absolutely everything - that's called a "cult", lol.

That ability + the ability to change one's mind due to awareness of new information that shows a different reality + the ability to allow others to have their own without being rude to/bashing them/making them feel uncomfortable and leave are essential qualities that we're hoping will keep joining ATS.

Personally, I felt like America as a Constitutional Republic was pretty much done for after 2021, & esp after Biden sold us out to the UN/WHO with the pandemic treaty thing.

It just felt a lot WORSE (like the last little bit of frayed hemp left on a rope that we were hanging onto as a country finally ripped, sending us tumbling down into a bottomless pit) when I heard Trump saying those insane things.

100% That's why my heart broke on Jan 20, 2021 and I could never get it back again. I knew it was the end of America as we know it. 9-11 changed everything but 2020 is the fall of the USSA

The history books will read, "Much like Nero played his fiddle as he watched Rome burn, Joe Biden sniffed the hair of every woman and child he could find as America burned to the ground, ending it's 250 years of policing the world".

The fall has been on the book for over 50 years. Alice A. Bailey was an important influence in the occult circles and it isn't their fault people don't touch their literature with a 10 yard pole out of fear.

I think her book " the destiny of the nations" is giving an interesting angle to global politics, and it has the potential to clear some of that fog.

It's not looking good, but not all is lost, for now...

I will have to read it. I'm familiar with Helena Blavatsky but never really regarded Alice Baily as anyone more than someone who bastardized Blavatskys work. Thank you!

The spiritual approach to understand the world around us is such a personal thing that I try to never discredit anyone's impression of it. I don't take it for gospel either, but as an expansion to my own very personal spiritual understanding of the world around us.

Blavatsky is really annoying to read, but yes, she was the one to introduce these ideas to the western mindset and the starting point for many occult teachings.

I think by translating from sanskrit to English things got bastardized already. I'm of the impression that sanskrit is a language that transmit ideas on the base of frequency and not the meaning of the word itself...

Not a huge fan of Bailey - or the Theosophical Society in general - but the problem with the ideas proposed in The Destiny of the Nations is that NO ONE can "fix society" or lead all of humanity ; While good leadership is important, it is up to the individual, 100%, to fix themselves; I truly believe that most - if not ALL- of society's problems, no matter how different on the surface, have the same root problem: the individual being unable or unwilling to fix themselves, and the human but flawed perspective of expecting a "Savior" to do it for them.

You want your demons conquered? If you look anywhere but within for that, you're just setting yourself up with a new demon ; Likewise, if you want a better life, you have to MAKE it for yourself. The alternative just makes you dependent on whoever, whatever, etc got you there.

Not a fan either, but it's a dominant mindset in the upper echelons, so I found it prudent to get a glimpse. I was intrigued and learned alot by doing so.

That's not a problem that's a fact, I just think her evaluation brings an interesting angle to the geopolitical situations

Honestly, I don't even think we need a 2024 election and I'm not sure there will be one.
It is all a Globalist psy-op, at this point.
Just another way to break the people.
People's emotions aren't yoyos, they can't handle the constant ups and down but for so long.
It seems like a pre-planned script anyway.

The majority of our Federal Government do not care about America(ns).
They care about money, power and reelection.
They get these by division
They, using their lapdog media, constantly divide us and it's all funded my globalist corporations.
America will fall, if their plan is going to succeed,. It has to.
They have to bring all countries to about the same level, economically, to level the playing field.
Then, using their "circular economic" plan, they will "Built Back Better", well better for them anyway.

ending it's 250 years of policing the world

I have to be a bit picky here. The "policing" has mostly been since 1941 or so.

Yeah, the "white fleet" and all that -- our period of running colonies (but by other names), protectorates, and such. But we stayed out of most the wars in the world up to World War I.

In 1941, we still had horse mounted troops patrolling the Mexican border. What happened subsequently has much to do with the wars and confrontations with Japan and dictatorships in Europe.

Cheers

Do the 2024 Elections Even Matter?

Probably not OP..

I know damn well though who I
will be supporting, rooting, pulling for,
and wanting to win.

Alas

Good vs evil ?

Probably not, but I'm going
to have fun going down
if that is where we are heading.

All that matters is the mail ballots and how they "verify" the signatures 😎

If there are no primary debates or even actual debates, then our nation is done.

In Minnesota, they are decriminalizing pedophilia

iotwreport.com...

They want to raise taxes, punish homeowners with good credit, destroy our economy with phony green policies, keep our borders open. . .

Why would ANYONE want to vote for a democrat?

Just Afghanistan alone should secure ANYONE running against Biden.

Yet there are polls and polls saying that Biden could win.

Well, we get the leaders we deserve. And if it's 4 more years of a corrupt senile president, an idiot for a veep, then no one should complain.

We probably won't be allowed t complain anyway if Biden gets re-elected.

I would only correct you in that the Republican Party is worse than the Democrat Party because Democrats TELL YOU exactly what they are going to do.

Republicans lie.

Run someone sane-ish like Sununu and Biden will get trounced.

They won't run anyone sane and practical.

Neither party will.

And 99.999% of sane and practical people would run screaming from American politics.

Sometimes, we need crazy. And I mean bat-# nuts. We need someone so out of the box and out of the establishment that it would screw DC up for decades.
