Honey Birdette, a lingerie company that used to be "A Luxury Lingerie Brand Created By Women, For Women" has changed to "A Luxury Lingerie Brand For All" and then hired a dude to be their luxury brand lingerie model. A woman has been robbed of a job and opportunity. I guess Bud Lite hasn't made a large enough example.

They gotta say the opposite, the problem is many of these posts don't lend themselves to the opposite, like this one - so it just looks ignorant.

This pandering is a curious trend for two reasons.

The Young ones tend NOT to be brand loyal, in fact, it seems many who make the demands on companies to do x or y don't even use the products, or if they do not in meaningful numbers. So does it really matter to the young ones?

On the flip side, who is covering the company. Generally, 80% of business comes from 20% of customers, can the LBTGQ+Dlauer#$%so kids cover the 20% for good in any company? Do those folks have any discretionary income?

Fashion used to be about creating the trends, then forcing folks into bellbottoms and parachute pants, now it seems the other way around, which is a bad way to do business.

There used to be an old adage "any publicity is good publicity" but that seems not to be the case, and this Maoian Cultural Revolution V2.0 American Style seems to show us that all reality is up for grabs.

BTW, for the record, both Mao and Stalin did this, only the useful idiots were executed after they served their purpose, so marketing might be really confusing after the white walls finally come down.
