The irony, even The White House Press Secretary isn't sure if Biden is fit for 4 more years.

www.bbc.com...

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has clarified President Joe Biden's re-election plans after a comment she made sparked confusion.

Hours after Mr Biden formally launched his campaign for a second four-year term in office she refused to say if he planned to complete the entire term.

"That's something for him to decide," she said at a briefing. Mr Biden, 80, is the oldest president in US history.

She later clarified that he would serve another full term in office if he wins.

The spokeswoman's embarrassing about-face came only hours after Mr Biden officially announced he was running again in a pre-recorded video.

"Does the president plan to serve all eight years?" a reporter for Politico asked at a White House briefing on Tuesday.

"That's something for him to decide," she began.

"I'm not just not going to get ahead of it. And there's a 2024 campaign. Anything related to that, I would refer you to that."

Ms Jean-Pierre's gaffe comes amid new polling that suggests a majority of Americans think President Biden should not run for re-election because of his age.

Mr Biden, 80, who is already the oldest serving US president, would be 86 at the end of his second term.

Trump is good at leaning into the fact people dislike him.

There has been unfair moves on him like the DOJ for campaign finance. Every presidential candidate is guilty of a host of crimes from finance to spending.

But I don’t feel sorry for him that ‘the system’ is at least going to be critical of him or push back through campaigning. That’s not just TPTB, but voters, journalists MSM and independent, or officials.

He stirred any pot he walked past. His greatest strength as a public figure is not just New Yorker banter, but also playing a victim along the way.

So yea, the DOJ is out of line. But he better be able to sell his platform even if it’s against adversity.

I voted for him in 2016. Easiest gamble of my life since Hill Dog was the other option, and known quantity. But now I know Trump too. His track record as president is sub par for someone who leans libertarian.

If he can’t debate his way with a loaded deck to candidacy, he’s a bitch, just like Biden.

Yeah, pretty much if one isn't beholden to the rule of law,
what else really matters in terms of government politics.

American be damned then?

I started with the legal aspect being completely out of line.

What I said is that it’s fair people criticize him.

If you want to say he is immune from scrutiny, that’s no different than the left deciding who is off limits from debate.

I don’t have a dog in this fight. They’re both bad and I voted for only one of them, the one most defend here.

The only solace I have is each and every year more people don’t associate with either party. We have a record more independents than ever. Roughly 50% with only 25% for each of the garbage parties.

The two parties can take their economic crisis, insane spending, horribly culture war nonsense that a vast majority of the country doesn’t agree with, and shove it.

Biden isn’t immune from criticism, neither is Trump, or Obama, Bush, ect. They’re serving at our pleasure. My freedom of speech is constitutionally promised. Twist my words, that’s your right.

I agree, he needs to answer for a lot of things the last year of his presidency and some others

There are a lot more people out there that want answers than people give credit for, and he and his team know its going to be hard to get around those.

It will be interesting to see what offerings we have no the R side of things for candidates

Question:

Who asks these questions?

Who can hold the Biden admin accountable?

Bonus question:

Why aren't they?

He could make it an opportunity. Show you’re self aware and sell the platform, it’s there for the taking.

He’s not the first or the last president to get screwed by circumstance. Carter had a bad deck, Bush Sr. met the first serious independent who cost him a second term.

History doesn’t care that they couldn’t deal with their adversity. All that matters is what you do with the present.

I don’t really care if Trump wins. It wont change my life much, and I’m not even sad if he beats Biden.

Honestly, I think it’s in his favor so long as he can do what he normally does. If he starts acting like a victim too much he’ll go off the rails. Basement Biden’s only change is that the self destructive nature of Trump uses his energy against himself.

I started with the legal aspect being completely out of line.

Did you now?

Trump is good at leaning into the fact people dislike him.

Doesn’t appear to deal with anything legal, just feelings.

There has been unfair moves on him like the DOJ for campaign finance.

So uh, I don’t know if you know this but the United States government was using its full spy apparatus against former president trump before he was elected.
The director of the fbi tried and failed to blackmail mr trump with material hillary Clinton’s campaign paid to have someone make up.
But yea your “ unfair moves” is COMPLETELY ACCURATE.

Every presidential candidate is guilty of a host of crimes from finance to spending.

Really
Using the old “ they are all bad” garbage?
If mr trump was guilty why would the fec dismiss his case?

What I said is that it’s fair people criticize him.

Oh, did you now?
Who said it was unfair for people to criticize him?

If you want to say he is immune from scrutiny, that’s no different than the left deciding who is off limits from debate.

Uh who said that?
I was responding to another member’s inaccurate translation.
Your comparison lacks.

As to the rest of what you offered, and?

Trump is an asshole, but that doesn’t mean the member I responded to gets to lie about what he says and not get called out for it.
Nor does it mean it’s ok to violate his civil rights.

Do you still have a dog in that fight?
Cause that is actually important.

Something has to happen. The Biden wonders every day. Looking for Dead People using Holograms and Green screens. I remember reading somewhere I wrote it down the date I read said He was executed Shot at Gitmo for Treason on April 27 2017 But I failed to reference the source. Ever President Trump said at a Rally " Joes shot, Joes shot."

Former president trump is an asshole.
It’s no secret, but being an asshole here isn’t illegal yet.
I don’t know he is “the best”, but by comparison to his previous and post he sure looks really good.

Under his admin, spending records broke pre COVID. And then he championed and signed multiple multi trillion dollar packages for COVID. Keep in mind this is after he made cuts too.

That’s the main thing for me since economy has been the thing every president in my life has made worse, and we’re on a dangerous trajectory.

On a lot of other things he just as you said talks boisterously since his base loves it, but he flip flops on a lot of those issue. People act like he was anti vax or called the scamdemic when he did operation warp speed. Or they say he wouldn’t have let Ukraine happen when he criticized Obama for not giving them lethal aid and was the first to do so. Ivanka and Jared used private emails while operating under the capacity of the White House. Jared got a sweetheart deal with Saudi Arabia after Trump left office. That was also after the prince bragged he had Jared’s ear a year or two earlier.

Some of that is really nuanced, but the whole point for me is that I don’t see what made him anti establishment or different from the rest. So if he was really good and was an asshole, I’d get the point, it would cancel out.

But he was just an abrasive guy that also was like the rest.

He wasn’t all bad, but that was me answering your question on why some people don’t like him at a policy level.

You’re twisting my words and being hyperbolic.

You know that’s not what I’m trying to say, you’re just being dramatic.

It’s a conversation dude, chill out. I never said Trump should be prosecuted. Anyone in this thread can see that. I was talking about him being at a debate or dealing with the public stage of campaigning.

Uh no
I directly quoted you.
I “twisted” nothing.

You know that’s not what I’m trying to say, you’re just being dramatic

Uh again no
I have no magical powers to read your mind, as others here have claimed to have.
I read what you post.

It’s a conversation dude, chill out.

Oh
Have I become unchill?
You determined this how?
I read text people post here. Text has no emotion, only what YOU project onto it.
Why would you attempt to tell anyone else what to do here?
Also why would anyone actually listen?

I never said Trump should be prosecuted.

Really?

Every presidential candidate is guilty of a host of crimes from finance to spending.

Wouldn’t prosecution come before guilt is established?
Or did you not post that?

I was talking about him being at a debate or dealing with the public stage of campaigning.

Oh
I was talking about the members inaccurate translation of president trumps opinion on debates.
As he hasn’t yet refused any 2024 presidential nominee or candidate debate.
I did ask about the questions at other debates president Trump attended in which his opponents were given the questions prior to the debate.
Is that fact in dispute? I think I can dig up YouTube video of the dnc chair at the time admitting that unethical vile behavior if you need such?

There you go sport.
Donna “Bobo” Brazile in all her glory.
More debates like this?
Is it wrong for president trump to remind everyone how fair the debates were constructed?

Is there really any doctor that can be trusted to perform a cognitive test and give the true results? I mean, Harvard crackpots were giving us the results of a remote cog test they performed on Trump without him even knowing, and they called him unfit while Biden passes with flying colors.

Well this is the first I am hearing of this.
I believe 2012 was the last time they called off debates while big O was running for his 2nd term.
Well either Trump again doesn't want to debate.
Go figure it's because people say mean things about him and he has thin skin.

Trump doesn't lose debates so I doubt this was his doing.
