Satanic Temple’s ‘SatanCon’ in Boston set to be ‘largest satanic gathering in history’

The sick and demented will be present in Boston this weekend for their 10th annual SatanCon. I do find it quite funny that their entire "belief system" is 100% leftist issues from the DNC playbook... abortion, transness, hate of God, DEI.

The Salem-based Satanic Temple is celebrating its 10th anniversary with SatanCon 2023 this coming weekend, which the organization has billed as “the largest satanic gathering in history.”

The event, which is sold out, will be at the Boston Marriott Copley Place and will include satanic rituals, entertainment, discussion panels, a “satanic marketplace” and a satanic wedding chapel, according to organizers.

The theme of the event will be “Hexennacht in Boston,” German for “Witches’ Night,” marking the Pagan holiday of May Eve, organizers said, promising the event will be a “weekend of blasphemy and remembrance.”

Founders Lucien Greaves and Malcolm Jerry will also hold sessions that include a retrospective on the organization and lectures on topics like “Reclaiming the Trans Body, “Deconstructing Your Religious Upbringing” and “Satanism and the BIPOC Experience.”

The Satanic Temple, based in Salem, Massachusetts, will host SatanCon 2023 April 28-30 at the Marriott Copley Place in downtown Boston. With a theme of "Hexennacht (Witches' Night) in Boston," the TST-organized conference includes lectures, panel discussions and entertainment.

Among the scheduled presentations at the event, which organizers claim has been sold out, are "Hellbillies: Visible Satanism in Rural America," "Deconstructing Your Religious Upbringing," "Sins of the Flesh: Satanism and Self-Pleasure," "Reclaiming the Trans Body: A/theistic Strategies for Self-Determination and Empowerment" and "Re-imagining Lilith as an Archetype for Reproductive Justice."

"There are those who truly get involved in the worship of Satan, and then others who use that term, but for them, the main goal is to simply remove God from society and replace him with our own intellectual capacity," he said, adding that TST's Boston conference likely falls into the latter category.

Yet whether invoked as a spiritual force or as a metaphor for atheism, "the devil is an opportunist," Father Lampert cautioned. "Directly or indirectly, he will use (any) opportunity to unravel people's lives and society. The devil is all about brokenness, division, bitterness, resentment and anger."

As a Christian, it’s weird that I both understand and despise Satanism; however, I feel that way two fold because Satanism really describes two totally different religions. You have your theist satanists and your atheistic satanists. Or theist and LaVeyan. I can’t understand why some people would find LaVeyan Satanism appealing as it is simply a philosophy, not really a religion. It is the same philosophy known as hedonism, only it also includes the belief of magic as a psychological tool and basically teaches self-fulfillment while minding karma. Do anything you want as long as should you harm, sabotage, hurt, inconvenience, dishonor, victimize, etc. someone, then you better be ready to take what you have got coming and if others do you wrong, make them pay. You only live once so life is about pleasure while you can.

Theist Satanism on the other hand is the kind the so called elites and ruling class practice. They truly believe in and worship the devil and some whistle blowers who have come forward say, regularly interact with him as he rules the world just like Job says.

Either way, I have never seen a satanist in my life who is over 20. It’s only ever picked on, fat, ugly, or gay kids who want to look bad and rebellious and by a certain age they realize they’re embarrassing themselves.

LaVeyan is even described as a religion. There is nothing atheist about it, it's a religion.

Atheism is not only about not believing in a god but also about not being in an organized religion, which LaVeyan Satanism clearly is.

It seems to me that atheism at its very core is Satanism in its truest sense. Satan means liar and slanderer. In the Bible the term “Satan” isn’t always just applied to the fallen angel. Atheism is a non-belief in God. (A) against and theos (God). At least these atheists admit they are Satanists. Which is all atheism is.

Let love and mercy win out against hatred and violence. That is the Christian way.

I understand these things. It seems what I was saying went over your guys' heads.

Satan means liar and slanderer. An atheist is both a liar and a slanderer in making the statement there is no God.

It is as Psalm 10:4 states:

"In his haughtiness, the wicked man makes no investigation; All his thoughts are: “There is no God.”"

And Psalm 14:1:

"The foolish one says in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.” Their actions are corrupt, and their dealings are detestable."

In Detroit, we have Wayne States "Dally in the alley"... Hippie, alt music fest. The 1st Satanic statue I think waa revealed in Detroit, and they have booths w literature passed out.

Now, Jesus is my Savior, but I see nothing wrong w them believing in anything ..and they aren't pushy about it, just tryin to find their place.

They're more in your face, to be sure, but we know what they really are. They are another arm of the far left doing the bidding of their marxist overlords. Even a heathen like myself can see through them.

They stand for nothing good. They have one goal, to destroy anything or anyone that gets in their way of achieving what they think they want. And if and when they succeed, it will be too late to turn back. They'll have to live with it and suffer with the rest of us.

It appears the community is asserting their democratic will in a quasi ritualistic fashion to "fire" God and "hire" Satan. It's not supposed to be literal, merely a celebration of their autonomy.
