FOX News Cuts Ties With Tucker Carlson

In a press release Fox states they've parted ways with Tucker Carlson.

FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

Seems to be related to the whole Dominion case which was a debacle for Fox with the release of texts and emails stating their true feelings on the election and Trump himself which were opposite of what they actually reported. Not sure if we'll see other hosts let go.

They may be trying to avoid future payouts of almost a billion.

It's been my opinion that Fox news is just controlled opposition. I have mixed feelings about Tucker, but he has gotten some good information out there.

Hopefully this will be the final nail in their coffin.

He could retire now and be fine, but I'm betting he'll come up with a podcast or something. Seems to be the usual MO for the talking heads.

Like many others here, we watched Fox for Tucker Carlson.

Many Tucker fans here.

While other personalities are also favored, none are more than Tucker.

Too bad for Fox, lmfao.

Meanwhile, Trump is cozying up with Newsmax and I wouldn't be surprised if Tucker ended up there. It'll definitely give a massive ratings boost.

Rupert Murdock was conservative; he handed the reins for Fox News to his liberal son.

I saw the tide turning within a few weeks as what would normally have been high profile stories went completely unreported on.

We're seeing the reverse of the Twitter takeover with Fox News, IMO.

Fox will end up just like all of the other fake news sites then.

Tucker just says it like it is too many times, people don't like truth.

Take the abortion issue for instance. Remove all of the political
aspects of the issue, standing on its own it is more like child
sacrifice than anything else.

Then we have gender reassignment surgeries, again...remove the
politics and it is a lot like the mutilations we see in tribes that
are not civilized. Tough words, I know But it is what it is.

Tucker was pretty outspoken, even though we all know he was on a leash. It will be interesting to see what he has to say untethered.

Wherever he goes he will tell you exactly what you want to hear. As we've seen from his texts and emails, he called the attorneys for Trump "crazy", he thinks the people who believe the election theories are "idiots" and he "hates" Trump. So he will tell you whatever makes him money.
