Some things just can't be forgiven.

Nor, in my darker moments, do I think they should be.

Here in the states, child molesters are not in the general population. From Day one, they are in protective custody. Not so much for their protection--though that is a consideration--but for the protection of the prison staff. As they are the ones responsible for maintaining order.

Predators use camoflage, church officials use the kindly family preacher camo. Teachers the "I just want to help you" camo. Etc...

It can be almost impossible to see 'em, especially the ones who've been doing it for years on end. My brother in law, as an example. There were signs, that I was too young and inexperienced to see, that were blazing red flags. That's why my nephew, whom I loved dearly, died in prison--I'm the one who dropped the dime on him.

Like the song says: What's love got to do with it?

What do you think, ATS?

I'm more eye for a eye. Death row is a fine start. They're too protected though. Since Dahmer the really irredeemable ones don't get put in genpop because riots get started to kill them. Which was fine.

But really, I think we should use one of our old WWII territories on an atoll somewhere (Like Midway) and release them sterilized (with tracking chips) into a coed sea-patrolled predator preserve. Like the same concept as Austrailia, only way smaller, specifically for chomos, and it won't ever gain independence.

And then let people hunt them for sport.

The only part I can't figure out is how to let people on to the game preserve without putting the hunter in danger. There would need to be an off island support staff for fast extraction, and a vetting process for the hunters. "The Most Dangerous Hunting Excursions"

But yeah, they wanna prey on easy targets make them easy targets. And screw what's cruel and unusual. That's how I'd do it if I ruled the world anyway.

OK, OK, OK....

Let's compromise and just make it "Physical" castration, hell we can even use one of the "gender clinics" to cut them off. Death penalty takes too long. Do this ASAP when there is zero doubt of innocence.

Save the death penalty for a repeat.

Why? So they can become beautiful brave heroes?

If Pedo rapes a baby.... castration within 7 days of sentencing (and jail of course!)

I find that acceptable and Just.

Baby? No sir.... Insta Death upon proof. No tax dollars. Throw them in a coffin and just bury it. Don't even wait for them to expire.

God will take care of the rest.

PPV, Public Executions.

Just think of the revenue it'd bring in!

The Supreme Court are off their heads.

There is nothing cruel or unusual about executing a child molester. In fact it is the only just sentence. Can’t let them out again and a lifetime in prison with the reputation of the crime would be a hellish & torturous existence. While many would think that fits the crime, and it does, but it is cruel and needlessly barbaric.

Long drop from a short rope satisfies both the demands of public safety and spares the condemned a lifetime of torture.

He should’ve been focusing on this kind of stuff from the start instead of starting fights with Disney.

Now he should do the same thing with rape.

I guess my only criticism is that it’s eight jurors instead of 12.

Perhaps a humane death is too easy.

We can look at the Little Lindbergh Law where someone is kidnapped and they send pieces of the kid until a ransom is paid. So here is a case where kidnapping wasn't capital punishment unless harm to a child accompanied it. With sex offenders of a minor, we have a like situation where a crime is committed and harm is done to a child.

I am not anti-death penalty. I want to see heinous criminals executed too. It's only natural. But, in a country that claims to be Christian, and where a good portion of the population purports to abides by the Ten Commandments, I think it's hypocritical to condemn a certain type of criminals to death, period. Life in prison is torture enough, and it gives the criminal a chance at spiritual redemption, but not forgiveness from society.

I have no problems with pedophiles getting the death penalty. Its a no brainier.

Now if we could only get the clients on the Epstein list to visit Sheriff Grady Judd in Florida for a nice talk over the weekend, that would be nice.

Plus as an added bonus if we got rid of the pedo, we wouldn't have hardly any politicians left,3 letter agency executives, hollyweird, nor many tech company executives and apparently even shed some of the scientist on the payroll.

Its nothing but a win. win win win and more wins.

Honestly, It's about time. I think molesting a child is worse than killing a person. At least when people kill, it's final. When a child gets sexualy molested, it will scar them for the rest of their lives.

You are right about it not being curable, but preventing can be hard. Especially if you share custody of a child. I have found in both the cases I know.

This is so true. It's the hardest to understand and the hardest to protect against.

This deserves a better reply than I can give tonight (a couple too many hard ciders
) so I'll come back to it in the morning.
