so i'm not even sure which one is the truth

IMO, this should be automatic grounds for a mistrial with prejudice.

But we can't have the truth getting out, can we... So the media rewrites the story to make out that poor little Yarl is a victim...

It was an accident. Accidents can lead to manslaughter if someone is killed. It is not a premeditated act. The old man was not sitting on the porch waiting to shoot a black youth.

The media is constantly regurgitating Yarl's family's STORY about what they CLAIMED happened, all of which strangely makes out that Ralph Yarl is innocent and was doing nothing wrong. "He was an honours student" LOL. In the USA today, all that means is that he could write his own name on the top of an exam paper.
