i thought we had it asorted with hetrosexual, homosexual and transexual.. I had transexuals at school in the 70s, ok they could have cross-dressed but i assume they wet on for the full transformation..

I don't see anything tiresome as you say. You can still be born a man or a woman and then change. It's entirely possible.

I kept on watching this one and like many/most I was banging my head with the ridiculousness of how this could be a serious topic.

Typically my definition of 'Male' would be has the Y chromosome (AKA 46XY) and therefore 'Female' would be any other chromosomal arrangement that was absent the all important Y sex chromosome.

So I looked for an answer to the question of can a 46XY conceive and was both stunned and amused by what I found.

My TL;DR; An 'actual' woman had babies but also had Man chromosomes ... Her daughter shows similar genetics but other relations had various intersex traits / deformities.

Finding this hasn't helped answer the OPs Question / Statement but it does highlight that there will always be 'edge cases'.
