By following the script and acting like they are pure minions of the system, do you mean that they drink the koolaide and fall into believing that it's all about race? Doing so, they just blame the color, the "tribe"?

That's very easy to do......the propaganda office serves that script up daily and repeatedly. It becomes something of a mind worm.

I am trying to understand what you meant by that.

As much as many people want to push this off as a race thing, I believe they are wrong.

It's a cultural thing that happens to target one race because of their culture.

What we are seeing is the result of children being treated like "little adults." They are not. They are children and they need guidance to understand how society works and their place in it. The present push is to prevent them from receiving that guidance by emphasizing politically correct, adult-themed think over correct think. Politically correct is not correct; it is often the opposite of correct.

I see it in other threads all the time. Why is "Make America Great Again" bad? Because history has a lot of errors... we cannot simply fix the errors; we must erase all history and start fresh. That way we can never progress. Humanity will always make errors.

The lack of dual parenthood in many of the poorer black communities simply makes it easier for this new political correctness to take hold. In the absence of strong parenting, children will look to older peers for that missing guidance. Those older peers don't know how to give the needed guidance because they did the same thing. The parents don't have time to provide guidance. It's hard enough to do when there are two parents; it's practically impossible with a single parent.

So it's not about race, and not even about class... it just so happens that one race is more susceptible as is the lower class. Give a poor black kid the needed guidance and they will become as successful and as socially responsible as anyone else. Take that guidance from the wealthiest white kid and they will become a thug.

Now the really big, big question: how do we fix it?

That would seem to be a given.

One example is not sufficient, however. It will take several examples and quite a bit of regular intervention, at the least. We still have many years ahead of us before the problem can be diminished to anything even resembling "civilization."

It's not Americas culture it's not any other minorities culture, this never happened down in Chinatown or the Barrio...

It's their culture, DNA... The persistence of genetic memory, just look at Africa... They're never in the news anymore, slavery is openly practiced as a cultural norm in the land of warlords an tribalism.

Africa itself is kinda just swept under the rug, which the MSM outlets are so well at doing.

I am so sorry to say that I think you are absolutely right.
My parents were European and were very worldly, and brought us up that way.
We always attended Catholic Church, and in the summertime went to different churches of all faiths - Baptist, Protestant, Presbyterian, Polish National Catholic, etc. So we saw all walks of life, which is very educational for children. And I didn't see racism at our house, so I didn't expect it.
However, now I see, and feel, that middle class working Americans are being preyed upon, bullied and completely mistreated, and it's just getting worse with nothing being done.

I see it in simpler terms - for example, I was raised that you worked to get ahead. There was no such thing as 'a free ride' and you were proud to get a good job, a nice car, and a home of your own.
Living on public assistance gives no expectations to these families, and no real ambitions. Perhaps if the system was for an extremely limited amount of time and recipients were forced to work for a living, the mindset would change.
I realize this is just a small part of the problem, but it might be a step in the right direction.

Precisely. Ridiculously short prison sentences, or no prison at all for criminals, means that scummy people (i.e. criminals) reproduce, abuse their children, and their children grow up to be adult criminals.
We should be imprisoning criminals for so long that they are too old to reproduce (and thus they can't abuse their own children, which is what the worst types of criminals do, because they won't have any), and that way we can remove the scum from the gene pool. In a sane, democratic society, that's precisely what would happen. A truly democratic society would have virtually no crime, because MOST people would gladly have criminals locked up for decades at the minimum, and would also have the death penalty for murderers. Within one generation we could literally get rid of MOST criminals.

On tonight's news, there is so much Chicago area violence and death to report, WGN-TV (Channel 9) is interjecting little 30 second "fluff" pieces into the steady flow of carnage reports.

One such piece was a statement from the Mayor, describing how safe the city is.

It was immediately followed with news that a 4 year old girl shot last week while riding in the car with her Mother, died a few hours ago.
