I wonder if they include a scene of The Roman Centurions story in the film?

I only hope that Netflix stays true to form when Cleopatra rebuffs Mark Anthony's advances by saying, "No! I'm on my pyramid!".

Guess there's gonna be a whole lot of Greco-Roman sculptures being smashed to Sh#.

All over Europe and other parts of the world.

Cleo wasn't the first one.

King Arthur got a race change a while ago.

In fact all western cultural heritage is being erased.

Almost identical to the communist revolution the world witnessed a century ago.

Not surprised, dropped netflix when I saw they gave the Obama's 100 million for content. Propaganda
Now everything is Wakanda for ever.

Not saying your wrong about the propaganda part.
But Wakanda is Disney+. And Netflix and Disney are in direct competition with each other on the streaming side of things.
Tbh there is not a single mainstream streaming service that doesn't utilize some sort of propaganda.
And it has been that way since the dawn of film.

I have been doing bootleg cable ala IPTV they cant tell how may watchers ect.. $25 month

The obvious answer is to find an actress who is the exact ratio of Greek, Persian, and Iranian that Cleopatra was.

Just to say that Africa is a big continent. The range of skin colours, hair types and complexion is extremely diverse. It's insulting to Africans to suggest that all Africans are the same colour, look and build of the "typical" African American, most of whom would trace ancestry back to West Africa.

Even if Cleopatra was an Egyptian by ancestry, she would not be dark brown, as Egyptians don't look like Nigerians.

Netflix and the Black/USA lobby need to travel around Africa to understand what I mean, and appreciate that they stereotype Africans.

I don't care how many historical figures Hollyweird portrays as a different ethnicity. It's play acting any way. What I want to know is why Asians, Mexicans, Indians, and Middle Eastern folks aren't getting their turn to play one of these characters. Seems very racist to me.

It's not racist. Portraying the historical figure as who they were is important for historical context.

There you go, using logic and reason. Since when is that part of the woke mentality? SMH

I wouldn't mind if it was posited as fiction, but it's not. The scholars I know are pretty annoyed by this.

Sorry, but it's the woke professors and scholars who are roaring in indignation at the mischaracterization.

They are now race swapping Historical Figures.

There are many Historical evidences and documented written articles, years worth of research which shows that Queen Cleopatra of Egypt was a Egyptian/Greek born.

Whats even worse about this "documentary" they want to portray Ancient Egypt that had the same Skin Black Tone Africans in Ancient Egypt as in the video.
Majority of the population in Egypt isn't South African.

Ancient Egypt wasn't all the way documentary is portraying Ancient Egypt.

Why Does Netflix Keep doing this?

How do you know it's not accurate? The only way to know is by a DNA test. Have they found her body to do such?

You've seen it? The story is so far off that it should be fiction? Explain. I haven't seen it.

It seems to always be about race and historical context is secondary. DNA seems to reign supreme.

Tell us Cleopatra's exact DNA makeup. Problem solved.

Easily done... just provide her correctly identified body.

However, in the absence of that, we have to go with her recorded lineage (daughter of (Ptolemy) Auletes) and official portraits (like those on her official coinage... temple wall depictions are too highly stylized though we can get some sense of her from those) and writings from Romans who met her.
