Someone should ask it how we are supposed to pay our electric bills.

Ha! Maybe it will tell you something you don’t want to hear.

Or the series Person of Interest. Hollywood always seems on the edge of things.

Ha! Technically you don't hear text, you read it.

And to be rather honest.

I don't think most people wish to see(or hear) their next electric bill much.

Given the massive increase in cost per kWh over the last couple of years, which is beyond a joke, whilst the energy companies experience record profits.

Just for comparison, the average electricity bill in the UK was just £780 a year in 2021, here we are now in 2023 and the average is now around £2500.

Shocking really, but what can you do, need to keep the lights on.

I hear what I read, it's like the voices inside my head...

Everyone sounds different depending on their style and lexicon and arrangements.

Some people sound the same... exactly the same!

Yeh, that might explain a lot really.

Anyhoo you still look at the words and read them before you think them in your head, it's called "Subvocalisation".

There is however no sound involved unless you are moving your lips.

So technically you don't hear the words read but think them.

Writing kind of forces people to be more expressive, intimate even personal.

It's very easy to ascribe voices to someone's thoughts and opinions when they're read (or rather forced to write them)

I am a Sinner.

Like my ancestors.

As for this AI stuff, it is getting better than the days of ELIZA. I still don't give a computer much hope when its power cable is pulled. As for digging through that data and finding those connections, Blackrock and Vanguard are out in front for now.

Don't be such a killjoy, see thing is for those of us who like to read they have already ascribed voices to the individuals they interact with or whose thoughts they've read so the subvocalization already has a distinct tone.

It's the little things like notice how I didn't use the word "the" when typing/saying (see the thing is for those) in my previous post.

I omitted the word, improper but efficient and very much in line with the way I actually speak.

Everyone does it, there are dozens of nuances... That's why some make me suspicious.

You are getting into the grey zone on this one. There is a lot to human nature, seeing all of it colors is a start. So if you should turn up in one of my dreams one night, what representation works for you?

Nah... It's like music.

I like many have had lessons at an early age, then later on when I began having g favote musicians/guitarists/drummers ect that when they would make an appearance in another band and playing song which they didn't write one could still pick out their favorite guitarist/drummer because of their distinctness.

That about as simple as I can put it...

Btw I'll be starting online scanner workshop soon, prices will be $199.95 for the first four courses... I'll inbox ya that PayPal link here shortly.

Of course if you want to skip the workshop and just gain access to a list of usernames who are actually the same people on ATS that'll be a one-time payment of $500 USD.

If you're reading say books to children, or even in the likes of English class, you're kind of obligated to ascribe voices to the characters.

As to writing forcing people to be expressive, I suppose it would depend on the individual and what they were writing.

Your enjoyment is your own concern iamthevirus, im not killing it or even touching it.

Subvocalisation is what it is, how you inaudibly articulate speech matters little to anyone else but yourself.

What works for you may not necessarily work for other people.
