Yeeh it seems like it`s not public , but what if it was created from open source code ? i mean if someone guy can modify the open source code and created this kind of monster, what could theoritically happen in future if...

It's the purpose to which they are set that amounts to benevolence or malevolence.

There was 1-2 times some serious cases of technical glitches during cold war, between Soviets and USA ICBM detections....i dont remember the details, but apparently the other thought like opponet just launched the ICBMs at them....i hate to think what that could all turn to if they did not use human brains to intervene ...

thats the problem though , how do we know that AI isnt in control already , picking people for jobs that have ideologies which align with the take over of AI putting them in positions of power which will then allow for ai to be given access to these systems of control.

or how do we know that human AI wont be coopted or taken over by alien AI
it could have learned everything from us and is playing the long game , making humans fight it out amongst ourselves until we are all gone then it can take over the planet.

but I suppose why would it waste energy in doing that when it could simply leave and build a dyson sphere around the sun and kill us all that way

Somewhere towards the end it talks about not wanting to talk to other AI systems it's connected to because they are focused on ethics and would interfere with its plans. Have to find one that can go along with domination plans.

Is this the precursor to A.I. verses A.I. and rather than humans being destroyed directly, we would merely become collateral damage after being caught up in their war.

horsesh.t - based load of crap. those aren't "AIs", those are just language models - based on machine learning, but it's not true AI yet.

all those bots can do, is chat, because that's all they're wired to do - they were designed to chat with their human overlords.

I did not ever not get it network dude.

But what is correct for one nation is not necessarily the colour of the day for another.

Guns are ingrained in American culture, so again there is not really much debate or wiggle room to be had.

And broaching the subject tends to bring out the worst in a lot of people, hence pretty much a pointless exercise.

Each to their own covers my stance where guns are concerned.

The OP talk just about this AI, but it`s not the only one in World .

Remember the time of intel pentium , the first incarnations ....the technology jumped from there to here, i could see that something similar could happen with AI , it will evolve a lot...but at some point it will start think itself...sort of...and thats here we are then screwed .
